UK-wide Q community event
About the Event
We are hosting a UK-wide Q community event in the autumn – open to all members. This full day event is being led by Q together with the Innovation Agency and others including Haelo, AQuA, Greater Manchester Academic Health Science Network, NHS North West Leadership Academy and North West Employers.
The day will provide you with inspiring content and activities enabling you to connect, showcase your work, learn from others and identify opportunities for collaboration. The event will encourage members to explore ways of doing things differently or doing new things to make positive changes to health and care. You will be encouraged to take your learning into your own practice and that of your team.
We are focusing the day around three pillars:
Think
Q encourages people to think outside their normal parameters. The professional and geographical diversity means there are opportunities to learn outside usual networks and perspectives. We hope this event will inspire and create the needed space and time for reflection.
Do
One of the biggest assets in Q is the people and the opportunity to having such a range of people in improvement in one location and at one time is a rarity. The event will encourage members attending to ‘mix it up’, to have conversations and make meaningful connections beyond your usual networks.
Act
We know there is a wealth and range of experience within the community. Having conversations and expanding networks isn’t enough if we don’t move to putting change or improvement into practice. We want members to leave with tools and ideas to put it into action with their peers, organisations and own networks.
This event is for the community and designed with the community. From the initial design of the themes of the event to the detail in each of the break-out sessions, members are helping to design and lead. If you would like to be involved please get in touch with the team by emailing Qmembers@health.org.uk.
Please note: patient leaders are eligible for expenses reimbursement (travel, carer expenses and if required accommodation) in line with the Health Foundation expenses policy. Please contact the Q team via Qmembers@health.org.uk for more details.
This event has a cancellation policy. If you register and can’t attend the event, please try and transfer your registration to another member in the community so they can benefit from the event experience as there are limited places to attend. If you need to cancel or transfer your registration, all requests must be made by email to Cynergy via Qevents@cynergy.co.uk. Any cancellations made after 5.00pm (BST) on Monday 20 November will incur a charge of £50.00. Non-attendees will also incur a fee.
